There is a God. The Bible says that He created you in His image and likeness.

The Bible is clear that all people are the creation of God but not all men are His children. The word of God says the way you are a child of God is if your life is pleasing to Him. He has given us the Bible to know what pleases Him.
Many men live their entire lives declaring that they believe there is a God but they do not live their lives to please Him. The Bible says that even the demons believe that there is a God and it makes them tremble. It is not enough to simply believe that there is a God.

The Word of God says that all men are sinners and are in need of a Savior.  God sent His son Jesus to be this Redeemer. He died on a cross many years ago and shed His blood so that we may be saved. Saved from what? Saved from the judgment that God will bring against sin, wickedness and anything that does not please Him. Jesus died so that you, believing in the sacrifice He made, may be forgiven of a life of sin against God.

 The Bible says that without faith it is impossible to please God. In order to receive this forgiveness of our sins you must believe. That is faith. It says in Romans 10:9 that if you believe in your heart that Jesus died for your sins and that He rose from the dead and you confess this with your mouth, you will be saved.  This requires that you believe. That you put aside your doubts, fears, pride and have faith that this is God’s plan.

The Bible also says, for God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whosoever believeth in Him would not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16). This is what God offers us as believers in Him, forgiveness. He loved, so He gave.

If you do not receive this redemption, there will be a consequence for your unforgiven sin. He is a just God. There is justice for he who believes, an eternity with God for your soul in heaven; Life with God. There is also justice for those who do not believe, an eternity separate from God, Hell. Your soul will exist forever in regret and the torment of this place.

Take time right now and pray to God. Believe in Him. Ask Him to forgive your sins. Tell Him that you are grateful for the sacrifice Jesus made for you and accept His love for you with your whole heart. Confess your need for Him with your mouth and live your life to please Him, He is your creator.

• Find a church in your area that preaches the Bible, nothing else. Attend regularly and grow in your knowledge of God.
• Get baptized and get full of the Holy Ghost and the fire of God.
• Tell others about your life forgiven in Christ.
• Talk to God a lot and read His words, the Bible.
